Last Friday, Indiana had an opportunity to stand up—not just for itself, but for the nation. Instead, the Indiana Senate voted down Trump-backed redistricting, and in doing so exposed a fracture in the Republican Party that many of us have known existed for years.

Today on the show, Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith joined me to walk through what really happened behind the scenes. The final vote wasn’t just a partisan loss—it was Republicans voting against Republicans. Against momentum. Against the reality of the moment we’re living in.

Micah put it plainly: this isn’t just about conservatism versus moderation. It’s about whether elected officials understand what time it is in America. One side is playing to win. The other is playing to lose slowly—and hoping voters won’t notice.

There were reports of backroom conversations with Democrats in Maryland. Silence from Senate leadership. And a stunning lack of transparency for Hoosiers who deserved answers. When voters reached out—calls, emails, even visits—many were met with nothing. That silence spoke volumes.

Here’s the truth we can’t avoid anymore: Election Day isn’t the finish line. It’s the starting point. Casting a vote doesn’t absolve leaders from accountability, and when Republicans behave like the country-club class instead of fighters, the grassroots base notices.

Micah also made something clear that should energize every conservative in Indiana: this isn’t the end. A major primary season is coming in 2026, and the America First movement is preparing to engage—fully, loudly, and intentionally. Accountability is coming.

You can tell a lot about someone by who’s cheering for them.

Todd Huff

That line stuck with me. When the loudest cheers come from people who oppose life, faith, and freedom, it’s time to ask serious questions.

This fight matters. Not just in Indiana. Not just in one legislative chamber. It matters because it tells us whether Republicans are willing to fight—or whether they’re content to manage decline.

Conservative, not bitter.

Todd Talk: Federalism or Obstruction? States Can’t Block Immigration Law

My friends, the Democrat Party may be about to get another hard lesson in federalism. Federalism protects states’ rights, but it also requires states to comply with federal law. When it comes to immigration, the Constitution is clear: that authority belongs to the federal government.

The Supreme Court ruled in Arizona v. United States that states cannot enforce federal immigration law on their own. Enforcement belongs to the federal government.

Fast forward to today. New York’s Zohran Mamdani says the NYPD won’t cooperate with ICE. They don’t have to help — but they cannot obstruct. And they certainly shouldn’t be threatening to arrest federal agents for doing their jobs.

Immigration laws are on the books. They’re finally being enforced, and left-run cities and states are trying to interfere.

That’s not federalism.

That’s obstructionism.

And it has to end.

Why You’re Hearing More Voices on the Toddcast

You may have noticed we’ve been doing more interviews on the Toddcast lately.

That’s not an accident.

One big reason is simple. Interviews let us have important conversations with interesting people in hopes that everyday Americans who might not normally tune in to a political podcast will listen once the conversation starts. In my mind, that was a big part of the legacy Charlie Kirk left behind. Get ideas in front of as many people as possible, in as many ways as possible. This is our small way of doing that.

And yes, you can expect more changes to help us do this in 2026, too.

But for now, I want to hear from you.

Who would you like us to interview? What voices should we bring to the table? The floor is yours. Just reply to this email and let me know.
