My friends,
I want to talk with you about something that’s about to hit Washington—and all of us—like a political lightning bolt.
Thousands of pages of documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein are about to go public, and while I support transparency, I also know exactly what’s coming: confusion, political spin, and a full-blown media circus.
The Epstein Files Transparency Act passed overwhelmingly, but when the Department of Justice releases these files, every media outlet and political opportunist will be picking through them, twisting context, and spinning narratives to fit their agenda.
We’ve already seen how fast misinformation spreads.
People will search the files for Donald Trump’s name and implicate however they can—totally disregarding context and truth. That’s why I’m telling you now: just because a name appears in a document, it doesn’t automatically mean wrongdoing. It could mean that, but not necessarily because these files could contain anything.
Patience and critical thinking are essential if we want to understand what’s really happening.
Let me give you an example from just the other day.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett was on CNN with Kaitlan Collins, talking about campaign donations made by Jeffrey Epstein. Her team highlighted “Jeffrey Epstein” as a donor to Republican campaigns like Mitt Romney’s and the McCain-Palin ticket.
But it turns out to be a completely different Jeffrey Epstein—a doctor with no connection to the convicted sex trafficker.
But by the time that clarification came out, many assumed that Epstein was funding Republican campaigns every chance he got. And the implication is that, of course, he did so because Republicans are all guilty of sex crimes on Epstein Island.
This is exactly the kind of chaos and deceit we can expect when thousands of pages hit the public at once.
What makes this even more challenging is the speed at which social media amplifies partial information. Many people focus on the shocking names and associations without thinking—or even caring—about the context. It’s confirmation bias, not truth, that fuels so much of what is reported or shared today.
Transparency works—but only when we stay rooted in truth and think critically.
Rushing to judgment only fuels the frenzy.
The details matter. And without careful analysis, the story will be dictated by outrage, not truth.
Let me be clear—I’m not saying we should ignore wrongdoing. What I am saying is this: we need to approach these files with patience, context, and discernment. If we do, we can separate the real issues from the hype and make sense of what’s actually in these documents. I encourage you to verify facts, think critically, and don’t let the loudest voices shape your understanding.
Conservative, not bitter.

Todd Talk: The Absurd Push for Baby “Consent” in Diaper Changes
My friends, some self-appointed experts now say parents should ask babies for consent before changing their diapers. Maybe these same experts can tell us what financial advice they got the last time they asked their chihuahua.
According to the report out of Deakin University in Australia, lunatics like Katherine Bussey and Nicole Downes are telling parents to kneel down and ask things like, “Do you want to walk or crawl with me to the changing table?” This isn’t science. It’s political theater.
Inside academic bubbles, these ideas sound profound. To the rest of us, they sound ridiculous. Babies don’t understand consent. They can’t give it. And pretending otherwise isn’t enlightened — it’s confused.
My dad has a term for folks who trade common sense for academic fantasy: overeducated idiots. And, my friends, that’s on full display in this story.
Do you believe America is headed toward a civil war?
