My friends,

How does it feel to be light-years ahead of the rest of America? If you’ve read this newsletter or listen to our Toddcast, you were well-aware that the fight over using filibuster to shut down the government was coming.

And now, thanks to Trump, it’s here.

Today, we unpack the 31-day Schumer shutdown—a crisis engineered by Democrats who are content to hurt everyday Americans to score political points. President Trump has now called for the Senate to scrap the filibuster so Republicans can reopen the government. It’s the “nuclear option”—and it may be the only way to stop this madness.

Meanwhile, Speaker Mike Johnson laid out exactly how Senate Democrats created this mess. Even journalists like CNN’s Kaitlan Collins are beginning to ask real questions—pressing Hakeem Jeffries on why Democrats are still taking paychecks while federal workers go without. The hypocrisy couldn’t be clearer in this sideshow.

Democrats are willing to let Americans suffer if it helps them politically. The jig is up—and the American people see through it.

We also looked at why the Pentagon is ordering every state’s National Guard to form “quick reaction forces,” and how DHS reports an 8,000 percent surge in death threats against ICE. Add social-media chatter about unrest when SNAP benefits run out, and you can see the pattern: the Radical Left is willing to gamble with chaos to regain power.

Trump’s right—the filibuster is being weaponized to hold America hostage. If Republicans carve out an exception to end this shutdown, Democrats will have no place left to hide.

As always, we’ve got the full transcript, links, and soundbites from CNN, Jeffries, and Speaker Johnson waiting for you inside today’s Stack post.

Conservative, not bitter.

A Democrat on the Toddcast? You Heard That Right.

We’ve got a special guest joining us on the Toddcast this Tuesday, November 4 — Beau Bayh, Democrat candidate for Indiana Secretary of State.

Now, if that last name sounds familiar, it should — especially if you’re a Hoosier. The Bayh family has deep roots in Indiana politics — from governor to U.S. senator, they’ve held some of the state’s most powerful offices.

But unlike the vast majority of Democrats I’ve invited on the Toddcast, Beau said yes.

Most Democrats run for the hills when we invite them on the program. (Can’t imagine why, right?) But Beau’s agreed to step into the conversation — and I respect that. It takes courage to sit down with someone who doesn’t always see the world your way.

We’ll be talking about redistricting in Indiana — how it’s done, what’s fair, and who really benefits when political maps are drawn.

We’ll also be talking about politics in general — including the government shutdown and political platform of the Democrat Party.

And I want to know what you want me to ask him.

What questions do you have about redistricting, elections, or transparency in state government? What about the big issues, wokeness, and the modern Democrat Party’s platform? What do you think voters deserve to hear from someone who wants to oversee Indiana’s elections?

Hit reply and send me your thoughts.

This is how real conversations happen — not filtered through the media, not controlled by party talking points — but honest, direct dialogue about the issues that matter most.

Stay tuned. It’s going to be a good one.
