My friends,
The Schumer shutdown has hit day 30, and the mask is off. Leading Democrats are publicly admitting they’re using the suffering of Americans as leverage.
In today’s show, I play the clips: Rep. Katherine Clark tells Fox News it’s “one of the few leveraged times we have.” Senators Chris Coons and Sheldon Whitehouse repeat the same talking points.
This isn’t speculation — it’s confession. They’re weaponizing hardship to gain political advantage.
They’re openly admitting it now — the pain of everyday Americans has become their political leverage.
I also break down the deeper issue: how an entitlement mindset has taken hold, from Washington all the way to TikTok, where some SNAP recipients are now threatening looting if benefits stop.
It’s an eye-opening episode that reminds us: truth and gratitude are the antidotes to manipulation.
We can’t let fear and dependency rule our country. Let’s stand firm for truth, liberty, and gratitude.
Conservative, not bitter.
Todd

The truth is, all might be free if they valued freedom, and defended it as they ought.
Todd Talk: Obama Calls for Regulating Journalism and Social Media
My friends, President Obama is calling for government regulation of journalism and social media. Don’t believe me? In a recent interview, he said we need to “reaffirm facts” and “separate facts from opinion” — and that doing so will “require government regulatory constraints.”
Apparently, the so-called constitutional scholar hasn’t read the First Amendment lately, which says Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of the press.
Now, it’s illegal to lie when it causes direct harm to someone — that’s libel or defamation. But government controlling media is something altogether different — and dangerous.
The best protection against this is a free people who can think for themselves — especially in a world where they’ve already lied to us about COVID, Biden’s health, and their political agendas.
Truth doesn’t need government approval — it needs courage and common sense.
More About Obama’s Media Police
The best way to get to truth isn’t through censorship — it’s through sunlight.
Truth doesn’t need government referees. It needs more speech, more light, and more common sense.
Here’s the problem with “speech and media police”: every rule they create has to be written, interpreted, and enforced by someone. And those “someones” always come with biases, motives, and political agendas.
The idea that government — especially in 2025 — is some kind of neutral, pure-hearted truth-teller is beyond laughable. These are the same folks who’ve lied about COVID, Biden’s health (more on that below), lockdowns, and practically everything else that didn’t serve their narrative.
So when a politician says we need “regulatory constraints” to separate fact from opinion, what they really mean is: we’ll tell you what to believe.
Truth doesn’t require more government oversight. In fact, government usually interferes with truth. Discovering truth requires citizens who think critically, ask questions, and refuse to hand the keys over to bureaucrats. That’s pure lunacy.
Friends, this kind of nonsense should never be tolerated, much less celebrated. Anyone who loves freedom, knows history, and understands human nature should fight vigilantly — and unapologetically — against Obama’s speech and media police.
The Government Now Admits It Lied About Biden’s Health
A new House Oversight Committee report — “The Biden Autopen Presidency: Decline, Delusion, and Deception in the White House” — confirms what most Americans already knew. It details how Biden’s closest advisers were willing to do just about anything to keep him in office, even as his decline became impossible to ignore.
The Federalist summarized the findings in eight ways Biden’s team hid his mental decline to hold onto power. None of this is really shocking — we all saw it — but now it’s part of the official record.
What is remarkable is how far they are willing to go to protect the lie. Even now, some — including Karine Jean-Pierre and Kamala Harris — still insist Biden wasn’t frail. They lie because it works with their base and because they know there will be no consequences.
This isn’t about party politics. It’s about truth. And regardless of which side you’re on, surely we can agree: people who deny truth so easily should never hold political power.
