My friends,

Even the media is finally starting to crack. On Day 14 of the Schumer Shutdown, both Jake Tapper and Shannon Bream pressed Senate Democrats for answers — and for once, the spin didn’t work.

During yesterday’s episode, I played soundbites that you don’t hear every day: Tapper flatly told his Democrat guest that her party is responsible for blocking a clean continuing resolution. No tricks, no pork, just a simple seven-week extension to keep the government open. And then Shannon Bream pressed Hakeem Jeffries on the same point — that Democrats refused to vote for spending levels they’d already approved months ago.

“Even the media is admitting it: the Schumer Shutdown is a Democrat-made disaster.”

Todd Huff

That’s the real story: the party of “governance” choosing shutdown optics over actual leadership. Even legacy media is having a hard time defending it now.

We also talked about Chuck Schumer’s sudden outrage over the so-called “weaponization of government.” Ironically, the same crowd that cheered as Trump faced politicized prosecutions is now crying foul when one of their own faces real accountability. It’s the kind of double standard we’ve come to expect — and it’s exactly why truth still matters.

And finally, we paused to remember Charlie Kirk on his birthday — a day now officially recognized by Congress as a national remembrance. President Trump is set to award Charlie the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously. We honor his life by carrying forward the mission he embodied: truth, tradition, and transparency.

So, wear red today. Speak truth boldly. And never let the noise from Washington drown out what’s right.

Until next time — stand firm, stay strong, and never forget why we fight.

Conservative, not bitter.

Todd Talk: Media's Moral Blindness on Hamas Terrorism

My friends, the media has chosen a side in the Israeli-Hamas conflict — and it’s not with the victims of terror.

CNN’s Christiane Amanpour actually said Israeli hostages — people ripped from their homes, tortured, chained in tunnels, starved, deprived of water and sanitation, some forced to dig their own graves — were “probably being treated better than the average Gazan.”

Think about that.

She compared their unimaginable suffering to Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza.

While I’m not here to defend every single action the Israelis have taken, none of them come remotely close to what was done to these hostages.

That’s not journalism.

It’s moral blindness dressed up as political analysis.

The truth isn’t complicated.

Terrorism is evil — and so is defending it.

Grateful … but a little tired

I’ll be candid with you — I’m tired today.

Not burned out, not discouraged, just tired. There’s so much happening behind the scenes right now that I can’t even begin to explain it all. But here’s what I can tell you: two new team members are joining us this week, and once they’re settled into their roles, we’re going to be rolling out some exciting things that I think you’re really going to like.

This show — this newsletter, this community — has become something bigger than I could’ve imagined when I first sat behind a microphone a decade ago. What we do together every day isn’t just about politics or commentary; it’s about helping other hear and (hopefully) receive truth. As you know, there is a lot involved in that mission.

Even on the long days — especially on the long days — I’m reminded that I have the greatest job in the world because of you. You listen, you share, you support, and you care about truth in a time when that’s not always easy. Thank you for that.

So, while I might be running on fumes today, I’m also filled with gratitude. We’ve got a lot coming your way soon, and I can’t wait to tell you more once we’re ready.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for listening. Thank you for sharing.

With gratitude,
— Todd
