My friends, what we’re watching unfold in Minnesota right now should concern every American who believes in law, order, and the basic idea that a civil society requires enforcement of its laws.

This is no longer a theoretical debate about immigration policy.

This is about whether law enforcement officers can safely do their jobs without being demonized, obstructed, or physically attacked—sometimes with vehicles.

This week, a lawful ICE operation in Minneapolis spiraled into chaos. Streets were blocked. Officers were obstructed by vehicles. And tragically, a woman lost her life after accelerating her car toward an ICE agent who was standing in front of her vehicle. That agent fired, seeming to believe his life was in danger.

That alone is a terrible outcome. But what makes this moment even more dangerous is the political rhetoric surrounding it.

For years, radical voices on the left have portrayed ICE agents as villains—comparing them to secret police, Nazis, and tyrants.

That rhetoric has consequences.

When you tell people that law enforcement officers are evil, some will eventually believe they’re justified in stopping them “by any means necessary.” We are now seeing the results of that mindset.

More than 100 vehicle-ramming incidents against ICE and CBP agents reportedly have occurred in the past year. Let that sink in. This is not protest. This is not civil disobedience. This is violence.

What makes the Minneapolis incident even more troubling is what we now know about the ICE agent involved.

He had previously been dragged more than 100 yards by an illegal immigrant during a traffic stop last year, suffering serious injuries that required hospitalization and dozens of stitches.

He lived through a nightmare scenario—one that officers across the country are increasingly facing. And now he was again placed in what appears to be a life-or-death situation.

Instead of acknowledging these realities, Minnesota’s governor chose to escalate the rhetoric. Rather than standing firmly with law enforcement, he accused federal officials of provoking chaos and suggested Minnesota doesn’t need help enforcing the law.

When enforcing the law is treated as tyranny, chaos becomes inevitable—and law enforcement officers are the ones who pay the price.

He even hinted at mobilizing the National Guard—perhaps not to restore order, but to push back against federal authority. His remarks were unclear—which is also unacceptable given the gravity of the circumstances.

My friends, that is upside-down leadership.

ICE is not roaming the streets to terrorize communities. They are enforcing laws that already exist. Laws passed by Congress. Laws ignored for years. And when enforcing those laws is treated as a moral crime, we shouldn’t be surprised when disorder follows.

This is why some are now calling on President Trump to consider invoking the Insurrection Act. And that’s not because conservatives crave authoritarianism, but because local and state leaders are actively undermining the rule of law. When officials refuse to protect law enforcement and embolden lawlessness, the federal government has both the authority and responsibility to act.

None of this should be normal. None of this should be acceptable. And none of it ends well if allowed to continue.

A nation that cannot enforce its laws cannot remain free for long. And a society that teaches people to hate those who protect it is one already flirting with collapse.

Conservative, not bitter.

Todd Talk: Why Real Victims of Tyranny Don’t Fear Donald Trump

My friends, if you listen to the Radical Left and the media, you’re told Donald Trump is a fascist, a dictator, a threat to democracy. But when you listen to people who live under real tyranny, their perspective is dramatically different.

In Iran right now, brave protesters are standing up to a brutal Islamic regime run by totalitarian ayatollahs. According to reports, some of these protesters are thanking President Trump for speaking out. One was even seen symbolically renaming a street in Tehran after him.

This should tell us something. People who suffer under real oppression can recognize someone who respects individual liberty. Trump isn’t perfect, but he respects and defends freedom.

Meanwhile, many of Trump’s loudest critics are the same people who excuse, enable, or ignore regimes in Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, China, and North Korea.

You know Mike Lindell. We even interviewed him on the Toddcast recently.

He’s not some faceless CEO hiding behind a PR firm. He’s an American patriot who built a company here, employed American workers, and refused to bend when the pressure came. And now? He’s thrown his hat into the ring to help fix the great state of Minnesota by running for governor.
