It’s Day 23 of the Schumer Shutdown, and Washington is once again proving that drama is the Left’s favorite pastime. With our national debt blasting past $38 trillion, Democrats still refuse to pass a clean continuing resolution. Why? Because inflicting political pain, not embracing fiscal sanity, is their real strategy. And it’s their strategy because they think hurting Americans will help them in the midterms. Disgusting.

The filibuster—originally meant to encourage debate—has turned into a political hostage tool. Enough is enough. It’s time to suspend or eliminate it when it’s used to shut down the government. Leadership means solving problems, not staging tantrums for political consumption.
And here in Indiana, we’re seeing another front in this battle: redistricting. Republicans have the legal authority to redraw the map, but too many are afraid of bad press. Meanwhile, Democrats are happy to gerrymander their way to permanent power. It’s time to play smart, tough, and within the rules—because the survival of our constitutional republic depends on it.

My friends, you can’t make this stuff up.
For years, Democrats in the media and online have called Donald Trump, Republicans — even little ole me — “Nazis” and “fascists.” They’ve done it so often it’s lost whatever fake meaning they hoped it would have. It’s their go-to insult whenever they run out of real arguments.
And now, their own candidate, Graham Platner, who’s running for the United States Senate in Maine, admits he has a Nazi skull tattoo on his chest — the Totenkopf symbol — and the party’s still standing by him. He says he got it while drunk years ago and promises to have it removed.
The irony is almost too perfect. The same party that sees fascists behind every red MAGA hat is defending one of its own who literally wears the symbol.

White House renovations are nothing new. From Truman’s complete reconstruction in the 1940s to the Kennedy restoration in the 1960s, presidents have always updated the People’s House. It’s part of maintaining — and maximizing — one of our nation’s most historic and important properties. If a top-notch ballroom helps America host foreign dignitaries, strengthen relationships, and negotiate better deals for the American people, what’s the big deal?
Especially when taxpayers aren’t paying a dime. This project is being funded entirely by President Trump and private donors. The Administration says it’s following all proper rules and procedures for the work, just as every past renovation has.
So what’s really driving the outrage? The Radical Left hates Trump. They’re blinded by rage. They care more about politics than truth. They have to oppose him at every turn or risk the possibility that people will stop fearing and hating him — and start realizing that his ideas actually work.
They can’t celebrate a win for taxpayers. They can’t stand to see progress made under Trump’s leadership, even when it costs Americans nothing. So they invent a scandal, whip up their media allies, and hope enough people fall for it.
But Americans are catching on. The outrage is fake. The results are real.
