My friends,
We’re now on Day 34 of the Schumer Shutdown, and if you’ve been watching the news, you’d think Republicans locked the doors of Washington just to hurt working families.
But here’s the truth the media won’t touch: this whole mess exists because of the filibuster. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times!
In today’s episode, I break down how Senate Democrats are using that rule to block reopening the government while pretending they’re the victims.
Even a few Republicans are afraid to fix it.
But if Democrats are telling the world Republicans have the majority and that they’re responsible for the shutdown, then let’s take their advice and take advantage of our political majority. It’s time to stop playing defense and start leading — and that should include ending the filibuster rule to shut down the government.
From there, we dig into something that made me sit up straight this weekend.
USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins went on Fox News and revealed that nearly 700,000 people have been removed from the SNAP program after investigators uncovered massive fraud — everything from one guy collecting benefits in six different states to more than 5,000 deceased individuals still receiving aid to thousands of illegal aliens cashing in.
That’s not “cruelty.” That’s accountability.
And it’s what happens when grown-ups run the show again.
But predictably, the Left exploded — because the minute you clean up waste and fraud, they lose political leverage.
It’s not cruelty to demand accountability. It’s called stewardship — and it’s what adults do when they’re in charge.
Then we zoom out to border security. DHS reports 6,525 known or suspected terrorists stopped at the border this year. That’s right — 6,525.
When President Trump said on his 60 Minutes promotion that ICE raids “haven’t gone far enough,” I found myself imagining all the heads nodding in agreement.
We don’t need more headlines; we need more courage.
And finally, I wrap with something personal: JD Vance is being blasted for saying he hopes his wife one day chooses Christianity. I think that’s beautiful. It’s not control; it’s compassion.
Wanting someone you love to know truth and grace isn’t intolerance — it’s love that lasts beyond this life.
That’s the kind of clarity we need — in faith, in politics, and in leadership.

Todd Talk: A Democrat Joins the Conversation: Beau Bayh on the Todd Huff Show
My friends, I’ve invited plenty of Democrats to come on this program over the years, and most have declined.
Some are big talkers on social media, but don’t have the courage to say those same things to you and me — because they know it’s a bunch of bunk.
I’m pleased to report one Democrat has actually said yes. His name is Beau Bayh, a third-generation Hoosier politician running for Secretary of State — the son of Senator and Governor Evan Bayh and grandson, Governor Birch Bayh.
I commend him for joining us. We’ll talk redistricting, elections, and where he stands in a party that’s become increasingly leftist and unrecognizable from his father’s or grandfather’s day.
