Donald Trump posted an AI meme modeled after Apocalypse Now and directed it at Chicago. It wasn’t long before the media declared it a “threat of war.” This is how the narrative machine works: twist a metaphor about crime into a warning of militarization, all while ignoring the very real violence that families face in Chicago every single day.
But beyond the meme is another battle — one over our history. The Smithsonian, national parks, and similar institutions have been misrepresenting parts of America’s story for years. They highlight the darkest chapters while minimizing the truths that made America unique, and they’re content to use that influence to cause people to question the very foundations of this country. If America is only oppression and failure, then the Constitution, liberty, and limited government aren’t worth defending. That’s exactly the outcome revisionists are after.
Slavery is evil. But so is erasing the courage of the Americans who fought to abolish it, or downplaying the principles that made abolition possible in the first place. When history is rewritten to hide redemption, it breeds shame instead of gratitude — and a people ashamed of their nation won’t fight to preserve it.
Trump’s White House is trying to end this politicization of history. That’s why there’s so much backlash. Because if you control the narrative about the past, you control the possibilities of the future. And right now, this is a fight not just over crime in Chicago or what hangs in the Smithsonian — it’s a fight over whether Americans will know enough about their own story to keep standing for liberty.
“They’re content to use their influence to cause people to question the very foundations of America.”
Today’s Todd Talk
My friends, Democrats and the media keep insisting that we have the most secure elections in history. But I wonder — do those claims include the dog vote?
In California, a woman registered her dog to vote. And he actually did. Twice. One ballot was counted in Gavin Newsom’s recall. Another was caught in 2022. She now faces multiple felony charges for the scheme.
But think about this: the dog vote probably isn’t woke. Dogs know the difference between male and female. And they’re not out there identifying as trans-species. They know they’re dogs. In fact, they’re a lot clearer on reality than some folks in the People’s Republic of California.
Still, if even Rover can cast a ballot, maybe it’s time to stop pretending our elections are beyond question.
The Lunatic Left
My friends, what rational adult responds this way to a 20-second video?

All I said — and you can listen for yourself here — is that a chunk of America rejects what I think are core American ideals: character, hard work, honesty, respect, free speech, freedom of religion — you get the drift. And this is his response.
If this nameless, faceless coward really believed he was “smarter, wealthier, better looking, stronger,” he wouldn’t have wasted time typing this out. He’d have just rolled his eyes and moved on. But he didn’t. He felt the need to attack a stranger on the internet.
So here’s the critical question: why do people act this way? The answer is simple: because they’re weak. Or liars. Or miserable. Or arrogant. But they are not strong. This isn’t how strong men act, think, or behave. The louder the bark, the smaller the man.
This is what cowards and bullies do — they lash out, trying to make themselves feel bigger by tearing someone else down. But here’s the thing: I am exactly 0% bullied by this clown. In fact, I’m 100% entertained by this “tough guy.”
So the next time this happens to you, take heart: you’ve won the argument.
