My friends, YouTube just agreed to a $24.5 million settlement with Trump, but nothing has changed. The payout headlines made waves, yet the core issues of censorship, selective enforcement, and Big Tech’s grip on free speech remain untouched.
Here’s the breakdown: $22 million went to the Trust for the National Mall, linked to Trump’s White House project, while $2.5 million was divided among the ACU, Naomi Wolf, and other plaintiffs. But YouTube admitted no wrongdoing. They didn’t change their policies. They just wrote a check and moved on.
The bigger problem? How these platforms selectively enforce their rules. Question the January 6 narrative or COVID policies, and your content risked takedown. Meanwhile, hostile posts directed at conservatives often stayed online. The problem isn’t the rules themselves — it’s how Big Tech decides when, and against whom, to enforce them.
“The problem isn’t the rules. It’s how Big Tech decides when — and against whom — to enforce them.”
In today’s show, I unpack this settlement, how free speech remains on trial in America, and why the looming government shutdown could become Trump’s opportunity to make permanent cuts to the bureaucracy instead of temporary furloughs. If that happens, it could be the most consequential shutdown in modern memory.
Freedom of speech, government overreach, selective enforcement — these battles are all connected. And they’re far from over.
Thanks for reading — and listening.
Today’s Todd Talk
My friends, the political tensions we’re living through are unavoidable if we truly want to save this great nation. Americans have been asleep at the wheel for decades, and in that time, lovers of big government have built a massive government machine.
They bow before it and worship it — and they have no intention of giving it up. In fact, they’ll defend this beast at all costs.
The only way through is victory. We must win elections. Win hearts and minds. Win the debate. Win on all fronts. And when entrusted with political power, we must wield it — legally, morally, boldly.
Not for personal gain, but to defeat bad ideas and push back against evil itself.
My friends, this is the path to victory.

Something New Is Coming
We don’t do a lot of interviews on this program — but as the show evolves, I expect that to change. Every so often, I’ll sit down with people I find interesting. Some I’ll agree with. Others I won’t. Either way, these conversations will be part debate, part discussion … and always conservative, not bitter.
Next Wednesday, you’ll hear one of those conversations. I won’t reveal who just yet, but I can promise it’s going to be worth your time. Mark your calendar.
In the meantime, if you missed my recent on-air conversation with Mark Levin, you can catch that here: Todd Huff Show with Mark Levin.
